1. Joining the crew
By creating an account or downloading the game you agree to these terms. You must be old enough to agree to them where you live (13 or older in most places, or with a parent's permission).
2. Your account
- Keep your password secret. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't sell, share or trade accounts.
- Usernames and pirate names must not impersonate others or be hateful or obscene. We may rename or close accounts that break this.
3. Fair play
- No cheating, exploiting bugs on purpose, or tampering with the game, launcher or servers.
- No harassment, hate or threats in chat or anywhere else.
- No attacks on our services: scraping, flooding, probing for weaknesses without permission.
4. The game
Blackwater Tides is in active development. Features, balance and progress may change, and servers may be offline for maintenance. Game progress is stored on your device; back it up if it matters to you.
5. Ownership
The game, launcher, website, art and code belong to Blackwater Tides. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and play.
6. Closing accounts
You can close your account any time from Captain's Quarters. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
7. No warranty
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we'll tell you on the site or by email.
